Chrysler Fiat CEO: Please DON'T buy this car

The CEO of the newly combined Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is urging people not to buy his company's electric car.

It's a strange request from a world in which automotive CEOs are usually doing everything they can to hype their product lines, lure customers to showrooms and as they say in the trade, "put butts in seats."

But Reuters reported that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne told a Washington, D.C., conference this week that he would prefer no one buy the $32,650 Fiat 500e, a beautifully done, practical electric car.

10 Best Recreation Stocks For 2016

"I hope you don't buy it because every time I sell one it costs me $14,000," he is quoted as having said.

The 500e was created to meet mandates of states like California that require automakers to offer zero-emissions cars for sale. For the moment, electric cars are the easiest way to meet the mandate -- and automakers approach the challenge with varying amounts of enthusiasm.

Stock market wonder Tesla Motors, for instance, sells only full-electric cars.

It's not the first time that plain-speaking Marchionne has decried the costs of electric cars. But the price since the last time he sounded the alarm. Previously, he pegged the losses at $10,000 a car. Lucky for him, electric cars are still generally a tough sell with consumers because of their limited range. The Fiat 500e goes 87 miles between charges.

There Goes the Market: Nasdaq Falls Most Since 2011, Dow Industrials Drop 266 Points

The good feelings from the Fed’s minute yesterday has evaporated as stocks plunge, led by American Express (AXP), Visa (V), Alexion Pharmaceuticals (ALXN), Facebook (FB) and Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY).

REUTERS

The S&P 500 fell 2.1% to 1,833.08 today, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 266.96 points, or 1.6%, to 16,170.22 and the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite declined 3.1% to 4,054.11, its largest one day drop since 2011. At the same time, the 10-year Treasury yield fell to 2.63%, while the 30-year bond yield dropped to 3.51% after a very successful auction.

Lower bond yields helped clobber American Express fell 3.8% to $85.36, while Visa dropped 2.9% at $201.55, as both would benefit from higher interest rates. Alexion Pharmaceuticals plunged 7.5% to $144.19 as the selloff in biotech stocks resumed, while Bed Bath & Beyond declined 6.2% to $63.72 after forecasting disappointing earnings. Facebook fell 5.2% to $59.16.

Even today’s stellar jobless claims data–300,000 Americans filled for first time unemployment insurance last week–was taken not as an indicator of good times ahead, but a sign of still how far there is to go. RBC Capital Market’s Tom Porcelli and team explain:

There was a time when hitting a fresh cycle low in initial jobless claims was something to cheer. That doesn't seem like the appropriate response this cycle. The labor backdrop at present is punctuated not by the fact that layoffs are diminishing, but rather by the sheer lack of hiring. We have gone through this calculus ad nausea but it bears repeating. The pace of hiring (as measured by the hiring rate, which is hiring relative to employment) at present is not just lower than the previous cycle low, it also shows a stunning lack of momentum. Make no mistake, the level of hiring is trending in the right direction, but at best the pace is quite modest. Part of the problem is the difficulty filling job openings…while the hiring rate remains weak by any standard, the ratio of hires-to-job openings continues to print cycle lows and remains at levels that are more consistent with a very tight labor backdrop

The Lindsey Group’s Peter Boockvar explains what lower bond yields are telling us:

Bottom line, the rally in the longer end of the curve lately is telling a message of still ordinary economic growth, not the acceleration that many are estimating. I will AGAIN bring this back to the process of ending QE in that Treasuries also rallied after QE1 and QE2 ended as the equity markets rolled over which in turn impacted the economy and was followed by another round of monetary stimulus. The Fed has created a construct where the equity market has driven the economic bus (via wealth effect, etc…) so while the macro conditions in the US don't point to a threat of economic slowing, an equity market selloff can be just the concern for growth that the US Treasury market is sniffing out.

Rhino Trading Partners’ Michael Block notes that not only is the S&P 500 getting hammered, but Brazil’s stock market is rallying. He explains why:

The liquidation and violent rotation going on is not only hurting popular longs (read:  liquid U.S. large cap stocks) but it is also squeezing popular shorts (read:  emerging markets stocks and ETF like that in Brazil.)  This is not a fundamental paradigm shift driving this bizarre negative correlation this week.  It's all about flow of funds and who is long and short which securities.

I continue to see this as a pain/risk driven trade, and think this is a false dawn for emerging markets ETFs.  When fundamentals reign again, we do think U.S. large caps should outperform emerging markets.  The anomaly of this week's action is all about pain but it certainly got our attention.

U.S. investors better hope that’s all it is.

Hot Shipping Companies For 2015

Jack Adamo, editor of Insiders Plus, sees smoother sailing ahead for this shipping firm; in his high yield portfolio, the advisor recommends a position in the company preferred shares.

Predictably, Seaspan (SSW) suffered a big drop in normalized EPS for 2013, due to the conversion of all its Class A preferred stock to common stock, plus another secondary common stock offering, which, together, increased the common stock share count by 33%.

Additional preferred share issuance also impacted earnings to common shareholders. At $0.92 per share, 2013 full-year EPS came in $0.30 lower than 2012.

The extra capital raised is for a good cause, since the company's order book for large, energy-efficient, newly built container ships is growing fast. Seaspan expects to take delivery of 16 vessels within the next two years. As always, they are already contracted to long-term charters.

I've voiced my concerns already about the overweighting of the company's customer list to shippers owned, or partly owned, by the People's Republic Of China, so I'm happy to see that all the new orders are for companies from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.

Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY) has advanced 1.9% to $44.37 after the pharmaceutical company’s shares were upgraded to Overweight from Neutral by JPMorgan.

  • [By Neha Chamaria]

    The real pain
The titanium dioxide business was the biggest drag for DuPont last year, as demand for the pigment, which is used primarily in paints, softened globally. This year has been encouraging so far, with most TiO2 producers witnessing an uptick in the demand for the pigment. While DuPont reported an 8% sequential rise in TiO2 sales volumes during its first quarter, Huntsman (NYSE: HUN  ) saw its first-quarter TiO2 volumes rise 27%sequentially. Furthermore, Huntsman scaled down production during the quarter to reduce inventory, and feelsthat a better balance between demand and supply should help the industry bounce back during the second half of the year.

Average 30-year mortgage rate falls to 4.32%

WASHINGTON (AP) — Average U.S. rates for fixed mortgages slipped this week as new data showed a decline in home prices in November and a drop in new homes sales last month.

Mortgage buyer Freddie Mac says the average for the 30-year loan fell to 4.32% from 4.39% last week. The average for the 15-year loan eased to 3.40% from 3.44%.

Mortgage rates have risen about a full percentage point since hitting record lows roughly a year ago. The increase was driven by speculation that the Federal Reserve would reduce its $85 billion a month in bond purchases.

SLOWDOWN?: Pending home sales tumble in December

Deeming the economy to be gaining in strength, the Fed pushed ahead Wednesday with a

plan to reduce the bond purchases

, which have kept long-term interest rates low.

Data issued this week suggested a pause in the housing market's recovery. Home prices fell slightly in November as colder weather slowed buying, ending nine straight months of price gains, the Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller 20-city home price index released Tuesday showed.

The Commerce Department reported Monday that sales of new homes fell in December for a second straight month. Even with the end-year decline, though, home sales for 2013 climbed to the highest level in five years as they benefited from historically low mortgage rates.

Most economists expect home sales and prices to keep rising this year, but at a slower pace. They forecast sales and prices will likely rise around 5%, down from double-digit gains in 2013.

The National Association of Realtors said Thursday that fewer Americans signed contracts to buy previously occupied homes last month. Cold weather stalled home purchases.

Oil rises 7% in 2013; gas prices less volatile

Oil finished the year up 7% with much of the gain coming this month on signs that an improving U.S. economy is leading to greater demand for gasoline and diesel fuel.

Benchmark oil fell 87 cents on Tuesday to close at $98.42 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

As the year ends, U.S. drivers are paying an average of $3.32 for a gallon of gasoline, about the same as at the end of 2012, when gas was $3.29 per gallon. But gas was less volatile this year, peaking at $3.79 in February, compared with a high of $3.94 in April of last year.

GOLD: 'Safe' investments like gold were hit hard in 2013

AAA is predicting slightly lower gasoline prices in 2014 because of abundant supplies of North American crude. AAA said drivers on average paid $3.49 per gallon this year for gasoline, the lowest price since 2010. The national average has been above $3 for more than three years, AAA said.

Natural gas futures closed at $4.23 per thousand cubic feet, down 4 percent, and ended the year with a gain of 88 cents, or 26 percent. Increased use of natural gas used up some of the big domestic surplus of the fuel from a boom in production. Wintry weather helped boost prices in December.

El Pollo Loco (LOCO) Fast casual has been the place to be for investing in the restaurant industry, and that helped pave the way for this California-based chain specializing in citrus-marinated chicken to go public in July at $15 a share. Investors won't be impressed by its slow yet calculated expansion. It had grown from 398 locations to just 401 in the year leading up to its IPO. However, El Pollo Loco's store-level performance has been impressive. It posted a 5.4 percent increase in comparable-restaurant sales in its first quarter as a public company. That is certainly better than the average fast-food or casual-dining chain out there, once again validating the fast-casual model, where chains offer the convenience of fast food but the quality of traditional casual-dining restaurants. But clever sensors notwithstanding, self-driving cars won't happen without serious software, and that's where Mobileye comes in. The Israeli company provides software and chips for camera-based advanced driver assistance systems. This will likely become a competitive market in the future, but for now Mobileye is seen as a leading pioneer in self-driving vehicles. Its share price has roughly doubled since it went public at $25 just two months ago. Re

Top 5 Paper Stocks To Own For 2015

Dividend stocks are everywhere, but many just downright stink. In some cases, the business model is in serious jeopardy, or the dividend itself isn't sustainable. In others, the dividend is so low, it's not even worth the paper your dividend check is printed on. Asolid dividendstrikes the right balance of growth, value, and sustainability.

Today, and one day each week for the rest of the year, we're going to look at one dividend-paying company that you can put in your portfolio for the long term without too much concern. This isn't to say that these stocks don't share the same macro risks that other companies have, but they are a step above your common grade of dividend stock. Check outlast week's selection.

This week, we'll turn our attention back to the energy sector and focus on a company that's set to benefit in a big way from the upcoming energy boom, Boardwalk Pipeline Partners (NYSE: BWP  ) .

Up from the ground came quite a bubble
Natural gas might seem like the future of American energy consumption -- and considering its natural abundance in the shale regions of the continental U.S. and the fact that it burns cleaner, it rightfully deserves to be so -- but investors did everything in their power recently to try and wreck that future last year. Between a milder-than-normal winter in the U.S. on the East Coast and an overabundance of natural gas being drilled in shale regions of the domestic continent, natural gas prices plummeted under $2 per thousand cubic feet.

Adams’ partial list of potential losers:

BP (BP) : the highest profile potential loser. It owns 19.75% of Russian energy giant Rosneft, which accounted a third ofBP production in the fourth quarter. Sanctions that inhibit oil and gas flows to Europe, or banking/capital flows, would “hit Rosneft and BP early and hard.” An offset: there could be an uptick in demand for a pipeline 30% owned and operated by BP because it transports Azerbaijan oil through Georgia and Turkey to the Mediterranean a southern route avoiding Georgia and Ukraine. Chevron (CVX) pipeline investments could be stymied. It alsosigned a 50-year agreement to explore for and develop oil and gas in western Ukraine, involving up to $10 billion of investment. “A Russian takeover spikes that deal,” Adams says. Oilfield services companies Halliburton (HAL), Baker Hughes (BHI), and Weatherford International(WFT) all do business in Russia that could be prohibited if it is labeled a rogue nation.

The crisis in Ukraine and Russia’s tactics make U.S. assets look more secure and more valuable: some U.S. refiners that could export fuel, utility holding companies that could export liquefied natural gas, and related pipeline companies could see even more benefits, longer-term, from the North American fracking and horizontal drilling boom. But approval of the TransCanada (TRP) Keystone XL pipeline is a necessary piece of that equation, Adams writes.

5 Big Stocks to Trade for Big Gains

BALTIMORE (Stockpickr) -- Up, up and away! That's the battle cry of the broad market in the final quarter of 2013. But then again, it's also been the S&P 500's battle cry in the first, second and third quarters as well. Nope, this isn't a bad time to be an investor.

Earnings season is well underway this week, with hundreds of earnings releases still set to hit Wall Street this week alone. So far so good this quarter, with corporate earnings by and large falling a bit ahead of analysts' tempered outlooks.

In short, there's a lot of open runway for stocks to takeoff in the final months of the year. But which individual names should you grab now, and which should you avoid? We'll answer that today by taking a technical look at five of the biggest names on Wall Street.

If you're new to technical analysis, here's the executive summary.

Technicals are a study of the market itself. Since the market is ultimately the only mechanism that determines a stock's price, technical analysis is a valuable tool even in the roughest of trading conditions. Technical charts are used every day by proprietary trading floors, Wall Street's biggest financial firms, and individual investors to get an edge on the market. And research shows that skilled technical traders can bank gains as much as 90% of the time.

Every week, I take an in-depth look at big names that are telling important technical stories. Here's this week's look at five high-volume stocks to trade this week.

Thompson Reuters

It's been a solid year for Thompson Reuters (TRI); since the calendar flipped over to January, this $30 billion financial media firm has rallied more than 22%. But don't worry if you've missed out on the move -- TRI looks well-positioned for higher levels thanks to the pattern that's been setting up in shares.

Thompson Reuters is currently forming an ascending triangle pattern, a bullish setup that's formed by horizontal resistance above shares at the $35.50 level and uptrending support to the downside. Basically, as TRI bounces in between those two technically-important price levels, it's getting squeezed closer and closer to a confirmed breakout above that $35.50 price level. When the breakout happens, it's time to be a buyer.

TRI closed above the $35.50 level in yesterday's session, but it's a little early to call it a breakout just yet. If shares can hold above that breakout level all through today's session, then the buy signal is worth heeding.

HSBC Holdings

Big bank HSBC Holdings (HBC) is forming a triangle of its own, albeit one of a different variety than the setup in TRI. HBC is currently forming a symmetrical triangle, a pattern that's formed by converging trendlines squeezing in on the stock's price at a nearly even rate. The symmetrical triangle has less upside bias than the ascending triangle we just looked at, but the trading trigger is essentially the same -- a breakout outside of the pattern is the signal to make a move.

Because the pattern in HBC is less biased, it's not a pure bullish setup; a breakdown through the bottom of the pattern is a signal that it makes sense to either sell or go short. That floor is currently in place at 50-day moving average. A breakout above the channel's upper trendline (currently right around $56) is the signal to buy.

That doesn't mean that a downward or upward breakout are equally likely in HBC. Higher lows in momentum, as measured by 14-day RSI, is adding some extra probability to the upside right now. Still, don't actually put a position in on HSBC until the breakout happens. That's when it becomes a high-probability trade.

Agilent Technologies

Things look a little less auspicious in shares of Agilent Technologies (A) right now. Yes, Agilent has rallied 23% since the calendar flipped over to January. And yes, shares are just a few dollars shy of the highest water mark they've seen in more than a decade. But a double top setup in shares is making this tech firm look "toppy" in the intermediate term.

The double top is a price setup that's formed by two swing highs that peak at the same level -- those two tops happened in early September and then again in the middle of this month. A move through $50 is the signal that it's time to be a seller in A. Since $50 is a round number that's more apt to get attention from investors, it carries a little more significance than the norm.

Whenever you're looking at any technical price pattern, it's critical to think in terms of those buyers and sellers. Triangles and other pattern names are a good quick way to explain what's going on in a stock, but they're not the reason it's tradable. Instead, it all comes down to supply and demand for shares.

That support level at $50 is a price where there had been an excess of demand of shares; in other words, it's a place where buyers were more eager to step in and buy shares at a lower price than sellers were to sell. That's what makes a breakdown below $50 so significant -- the move would indicate that sellers are finally strong enough to absorb all of the excess demand above that price level. Wait for that trigger before you sell.

Discover Financial Services

You don't have to be an expert technical analyst to figure out what's going on in shares of Discover Financial Services (DFS) right now. This payment network has seen its shares rally more than 33% year-to-date thanks to a textbook uptrending channel. Technical price patterns don't get much more textbook than that.

Price channels are valuable for traders because they provide high probability ranges for a stock's price action. In other words, Discover's price is unlikely to trade outside of those two bands on the chart above -- and that's exactly what makes this stock tradable right now. The best time to be a buyer comes on a bounce off of support, a level we could see very soon.

Buying off a support bounce makes sense for two big reasons: it's the spot where shares have the furthest to move up before they hit resistance, and it's the spot where the risk is the least (because shares have the least room to move lower before you know you're wrong). Remember, all trendlines do eventually break, but by actually waiting for the bounce to happen first, you're ensuring the DFS can actually still catch a bid along that line.

Wells Fargo

I mentioned that trendlines do eventually break. Wells Fargo (WFC) is the perfect case in point. Wells spent most of the year chugging higher in a well-established uptrend, but shares rolled over back in late July, and WFC has been tracking lower ever since. With the transition from bull to bear trend established in the intermediate term, traders should be looking for the exits in this stock right now.

Basically, the optimal way to trade Wells Fargo is just like the approach to Discover, only reversed. A bounce off of trendline resistance is the ideal exit point for this stock. Right now, shares are hitting their head on resistance for a fourth time since the downtrend started this summer – it makes sense to wait for a bounce before betting against WFC (trendlines can break upwards too, after all).

Then, keep a protective stop above the upper red line.

Top Airline Companies For 2015

Don't expect much elbow room if you fly US Airways this Thanksgiving. Source: US Airways.

Thanksgiving is typically the busiest travel weekend of the year, and 2013 is shaping up as no exception.

According to trade group Airlines for America, travelers are expected to fly some 25 million miles, or roughly 31,000 per day over the 12-day period that's considered part of the Thanksgiving travel season. Inclement weather may have already caused problems for many. How big a price you pay in terms of delays and cancellations may depend on which of the six major U.S. airlines you're flying.

After combining satisfaction scores tracked by the American Customer Satisfaction Index, or ACSI, with each carrier's year-to-date load factor, I think those flying Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV  ) are most likely to get home without incident. US Airways (NYSE: LCC  ) travelers might not be so lucky. Here's a closer look at the entire field.

Last week, researchers at Wichita State University and Purdue University released the results of the 2013 Airline Quality Rating survey. This study measured the performance of U.S. airlines on a variety of quality metrics in 2012, including the frequency of customer complaints. The results showed that -- for the most part -- airlines are earning their reputations. Oft-reviled network carriers United Airlines (NYSE: UAL  ) and American Airlines (NASDAQOTH: AAMRQ  ) saw higher rates of official complaints in 2012 than in 2011, placing them at the bottom of the industry. By contrast, Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV  ) improved on its already low complaint rate from 2011, further distancing itself from other airlines.

On the other hand, investors who expect United Continental (NYSE: UAL  ) or American Airlines -- the product of an upcoming merger between US Airways (NYSE: LCC  ) and AMR (NASDAQOTH: AAMRQ  ) -- to follow suit are probably mistaken. Whereas Delta has achieved predictable positive free cash flow through disciplined capital allocation, United and the new American are poised to spend heavily on capex. This may prevent them from reliably generating free cash flow.

AMR (AAMRQ) bounced back a bit this week. Its shares gained 15% after losing more than half its value last week. After the close today, the judge who will preside over the trial said he will hold a scheduling hearing next week. AMR wants it to start in November; the Justice Department in February 2014September.

The Frontier sale has been delayed several times, although management has suggested that it may be resolved within a few weeks. The contest for new fixed-fee contracts has been a mixed bag: without signed labor agreements, Republic has trouble making competitive bids. Republic did win a big contract from AMR (NASDAQOTH: AAMRQ  ) recently, but other major contracts have gone to top competitor SkyWest (NASDAQ: SKYW  ) .

If you ask devoted Boeing (NYSE: BA  ) shareholders why they own it, they'll tell you there are about 787 good reasons to buy Boeing stock today -- and maybe more. Yesterday, Boeing announced that it's landed 102 orders for its most advanced Dreamliner airplane yet, the 787-10, with United Airlines (NYSE: UAL  ) signing up to buy 20 of the new birds, and Air Lease (NYSE: AL  ) and Singapore Airlines tying in the race to buy the most -- 30 Dreamliner-10s apiece.

On the other hand, Embraer may be fighting against the carrier current, which my fellow Fool Adam Levine-Weinberg says is moving in the direction of larger planes. JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ: JBLU  ) , one of Embraer's prime customers, is about to start flying some larger Airbus 190-seat craft and will reduce the size of its Embraer 100-seat fleet to accommodate the new planes. For the first few years of its existence, JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ: JBLU  ) was the darling of the airline industry. While it had the prices of a low-cost carrier (compared to the lumbering legacy carriers of the day), it actually offered more amenities than most airlines, such as free satellite TV at every seat. Unfortunately, as legacy competitors improved their cost structures and oil prices rose, JetBlue's advantage shrank.

If this is the year that airline stocks like United Continental Holdings (UAL), Delta Air Lines (DAL) and American Airlines (AAL) take off, JetBlue (JBLU) has been the exception that proves the rule.

The two airlines on the list are JetBlue Airways Corp. (NASDAQ: JBLU) and Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV). That any airlines at all make such a list is something of a miracle.

www.hasbro.com There were plenty of winners and losers this week, including a major airline doing something that it hasn't done in 34 years and more toymakers cutting play time short. Here's a rundown of the week's smartest moves and biggest blunders. American Apparel (APP) -- Loser Some retailers are struggling more than others. American Apparel is shaking up its board to try to get a new lease on life, and one of the appointments announced this week was adding RadioShack (RSH) CEO Joseph Magnacca. Really? RadioShack is one of the few publicly traded retailers with a lower stock price than American Apparel. It's losing gobs of money and closing down stores. Is that really the kind of vision that American Apparel needs in the boardroom? Perhaps more importantly, should RadioShack's CEO be spreading himself thin this way at a time when his own company is struggling just to survive? American Airlines Group (AAL) -- Winner There were a lot of milestones achieved by the parent company of American Airlines and US Airways on Thursday. The biggest takeaway from its report is that the adjusted profit of $1.5 billion that it reported for its latest quarter is an all-time record for the once-struggling air carrier. The acquisition of US Airways last year and improving industry fundamentals have gone a long way to improving its fiscal viability. However, American Airlines Group also initiated a quarterly dividend of 10 cents a share. That may not seem like much, but it's the first time that the airline has offered a cash distribution since 1980. Wow. That was back when folks could still smoke in the back of the plane, and it didn't cost extra to check your luggage. It's not the only way that American Airlines Group is returning its money to its shareholders. Backed by its healthy profitability, its board cleared the way for a $1 billion stock buyback. Airlines have historically been a wealth destroyer. The cyclical swings in the business can get fierce. However, se

Getty ImagesAruba is one of Southwest's new destinations. At the beginning of July, Southwest Airlines (LUV) did something it hadn't previously done in its 43 years of existence: It landed a Southwest-branded commercial flight in a foreign country. Its move abroad is a departure for the carrier, which over the decades built a reputation as a charmingly low-frills airline flying only domestic routes. In a tough industry, it's done well with this business profile, so why is it starting to go overseas now? International Income Domestic air travel is growing relatively slowly. In 2013, total passenger numbers for intra-U.S. voyages rose by less than 1 percent on a year-over-year basis, and just over 4 percent from 2009 to 2013. Those growth numbers for international travel, meanwhile, were 3 percent and 17 percent, respectively. American Airlines Group (AAL) brought in around 40 percent of its total $23 billion or so in passenger revenues from international flights in fiscal 2013. United Continental (UAL) doesn't break down its take by domestic versus international hauling. It does, however, admit that for June its revenue passenger miles (a key figure of total paying customer volume) for domestic flights totaled 8.36 billion, while that for international came in at 8.40 billion -- an almost exact 50/50 split. Cheaper Caribbean Southwest plans to use its famous discounts to win business for its new routes -- the nearby vacation destinations of Jamaica, the Bahamas and Aruba. For example, booking one of Southwest's round-trip, nonstop flights from Atlanta to Montego Bay, Jamaica, for midweek departure and return in September at the lowest available fare recently brought up a ticket for just under $300. The cheapest option for a nonstop round trip for the same dates on Priceline Group's (PCLN) Kayak booking engine was a bit over $400 from Delta (DAL). That was similar to the price returned from a search on the airline's own site. Meanwhile, Priceline's propr
